Holy black female purse designer BATMAN!!!

awww SHOOT! Sistah girl is holdin' it DOWN. This isn't news that B. Romanek's collection of handbags are hott shit but one woman's old news (me) could be a blog reader's (you) treasure. Sooo EVERY posting on Mz. B. shares that she went from "making bags for friends to having them on the shelves of Barney's and being featured in Harper's Bazaar (my favorite mag)" and blah blah blaaah, let's get to the nitty gritty, I find these bags HOT cuz not only are they alligator skin (see...not knockin' the hustle) but they're cute AND designed by a black woman. I LOVE to see new faces breaking out in high fashion especially people of color because that's a rare find. Of course there's Essence and Ebony who do features every spring and fall on black designers but Bazaar and Vogue? THAT'S AIN'T NO JOKE MAAAYNE.





Romanek isn't just any regular chip off the old block either. Her mom an original member of the group Rufus (think Chaka Khan) she followed in her foot steps and had an album or two in the top ten (EXACTLY...so now you know where she got alligator/crocodile/lizard skin money FROM lol) and now this. Her bags have been seen carried by everybody from the Olsen Twins to Evan Mendes the video-ho-fessional and even Courtney Cox. From what it's lookin' like B. arrived just in time and won't be making an exit ANY time soon.
